6-6-66 + 40 = 6-6-6: Erik’s 40th Birthday And Non-Evil 666 Trademark Offer

I am not a hexakosioihexekontahexaphobic.

I was born on 06-06-1966. Today, 06-06-2006, is my 40th birthday. I am not a hexakosioihexekontahexaphobic <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia>, my name is not Damien, and I have no telling scars on my head, but, as you can imagine, I’ve heard all the jokes about my birthday.

Today (2006), the world’s population is about 6.5 billion and there are about 200,000 births per day. In 1966, the world’s population was about 3.5 billion and there were about 100,000 births per day. I know one other person with the exact same birthday as mine (and she is also a lawyer), but I don’t know the other 99,998 folks out there. Personally, I like my odds of being non-evil. I did dress up as Dr. Evil <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Evil> for an Austin Power movie party in the summer of 1999, but I’m not sure that proves that I’m evil.

To prove that I am not evil and not about to take over the world, my law firm, Clock Tower Law Group, will offer its trademark registration services free* for every 6th new client that signs up in next 66 days. Furthermore, for all new clients that sign up in the next 66 days, I guarantee** that if you file a trademark with Clock Tower Law Group, then you will get a registered trademark or I will give you your money back. It’s our non-evil 666 trademark offer.

*There are strings attached. “Free” means that applicants will pay for the USPTO’s filing fees (and other costs, such as postage) but not the firm’s legal fees. It currently costs $325 to file a trademark for one class. Responses to office actions, oppositions, interferences, and the like are not included in the “free” part – just the initial filing. In about two-thirds of the cases, Clock Tower Law Group does not receive any office actions after the initial filing, and registered trademarks issue in about 11-13 months from when they were filed. The “free” services will be provided to every 6th new client who signs up with Clock Tower Law Group for the 66-day period starting 06-06-2006 and ending 08-11-2006 (inclusive). Winners will be posted on the ErikJHeels.com weblog. One becomes a new client by returning Clock Tower Law Group’s proposal letter to the firm. To be eligible, sign up for this promotion at Clock Tower Law Group’s website <http://www.clocktowerlaw.com/666.html>.

**We can make this guarantee because we do a trademark search as part of every application and only recommend filing a trademark application when there is a good chance of success. The guarantee means that if the USPTO objects to your trademark, then we will give you the option of (1) pursuing another trademark under the same “free” conditions as your first trademark (i.e. you pay the filing fee) or (2) we will refund any legal fees you paid to us.

By the way, if I were evil and were planning on taking over the world, here is how I would start. On 6-6-6, the 40th anniversary of my 6-6-66 birth, I would post a message with the subject “Macintosh vs. Windows: Which Is Better?” on every mailing list that I belong to, encouraging members to cross-post the question to other lists. The resultant flame wars would incite a civil war between Windows and Macintosh enthusiasts. I’m not sure what I’d do next, but that’s how I’d start.

  1. I was also born on 6/6/66. Happy 41st birthday. I always thought it would be neat to meet others with this unusual birthday.

Last year, I thought it was very ironic to have turned the dreaded 40 on 6/6/06!

I, too, have heard enough Omen jokes for one lifetime. However, the silliest thing I ever heard upon mentioning my birthday was “Oh, that’s neat… I’ll bet you don’t forget when it is!”

Uhmmm, who forgets their own birthday? :)

  2. I too was born on 6-6-66. I have always heard the jokes…of course. We should form a club worldwide of everyone born on this unusual day….of course it would be called a conspiracy but that would make it more fun.

    My email is dataclese@aol.com

  3. Hey folks,

You have now found 5 out of the 100,000 who share our birthday, Erik. I also met a guy online once who was born the same day. He went by the AOL name of luckycharm and he was from Louisiana. I lost track of him many years ago. I think we need to try harder to find the rest of usAfter all, we’re not getting any younger! :)

Would love to get in touch with others who share this birthday. I can be reached at lostrhyme@yahoo.com.

  4. For that matter, you could argue that anyone with a “birth number” of 24 has a sinister birthday. For example, if someone was born on 10/2/66 (add up the digits of 10 + 2 + 6 + 6 = 24), that “averages out” to 6/6/66. All you folks out there, add up the digits of your birthday to see if they add up to 24. If so, you have a birthday numerically equivalent to 6/6/66.

  5. OK, I’m not evil, but I like to pretend I am when people start cracking jokes about my birthday! But I do love the birthday we share. It’s a real conversation piece and kind of special.

  6. i was born in vienna austria 06/06/1966 .i now live in australia and my drivers licence on the back has 666 which has had the police scratching there heads on whether to book me or just walk away slowly.to this date no tickets yet is that evil.

  7. 6/6/66 here too – born near Chester UK. Lived opposite a country church for all early life and saw Omen film when about 13, then had nightmares about older brother dragging me into church at night and unrolling bundle of knives !! that should tell you that HE was the evil one!!! He also used to think it was really funny to keep checking my head for 666 marks – anyone watching would have thought I had nits (kooties – I think they are called in the US).

  8. hi,eric i was born 10-6-66.and i hate to tell people my birth date.always something said,or they just stupid or is there something to it ,i mean our names having 666 in it.i wonder however i have never attempted to dig to deep.but it makes me feel ashamed or guilty

  9. I am worried that all of you will rise again and take over the world. Your children are the spawns of satan as you are. Please do not kill your mothers/siblings.
One day it will all be yours.

  10. I am so happy to have found others with the same birthday, I too was born on 6/6/66 8lbs 6 ozs, but make number 7 out of eight children, Mazhar Khan has me beat I think there should definately be a club. it’s funny I do maintance for a living but I think I would make a hell of a lawyer. My mother checked my head too after seeing he movie. I am not evil but I have very different views and I am very anti extablishment. would love to talk to everybody on here I’ve always wondered. email jsantana6619@gmailcom/

  11. I have never met anyone who shares my birthday. 6/6/66 has been a topic of conversation ever since I was little and I heard every evil joke and comment you could imagin. After awhile I started to believe the nasty little comments and felt I needed to live up to the image.
Satan, the devil, lusifer, scars on my head….. Hey, you never know ?

  12. Last of 10 children born in England, and from a chritian back ground, I have heard about and read Revelation 13 a 100 times.

My Father forever talked about Revelations on every single birthday.

I have a scare in my forehead which I have great pleasure in telling people that it’s one of many brithmarks and if magnified has 6 little spots inside.

People freak!! I also have vivied dreams which come true and my siblings do get scared when I tell them I had a dream – My brothers read taret cards and are into astology in a big way.

I have worked in the Pharmaceutical and National Health service for many years and eat well, but never keep fit!

6/6/1966 is a great day to be born on but I find people either love me to bits or hate me with a vengence waiting to see me fall.

But I am very spiritual and believe there is a GOD and know he is master of all things and time.

If a 666 club is to be created time is at hand – I would love to meet you all on our 66th birthday on the map setting 666c were ever that is!! – has anyone looked it up.

    Peace – love – respec

  13. I just came across this. Not feeling very motivated this morning! I also share this birthday and am a lawyer. Never met anyone with the same birthday before so it is funny to see so many people with it as well as another fellow member of the Bar.

  14. Heres another one! Born in Kentucky 06/06/66 I have always felt special with my birthday. When people make stupid inconsiderate comments I just just look at them with a “burst into flames” stare and the situation usually takes care of itself! LOL Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone out there. Love to all my bithday twins!

  18. My father, Randall, was also born on 6-6-66. I always thought it was a little strange or weird so I decided to look it up. Glad to run across your site.

  19. 6! Yes isn’t it a great number! I was born on that very day, 6/6/66 myself. Like many of you i’ve not yet had the pleasure of meeting a fellow 6X4 as i like to call it. I,m from eastern Kansas and would enjoy greatly hearing from any or all of you ! newj6x4@yahoo.com PEACE !

  20. Hello everyone! Yes another 6/6/66 and I’m from Georgia. I often
wondered if I would ever meet anyone with our very different b-day. I also have vivid dreams that often come true. Anyone else with the same gift.

  21. I was born 6/6/66 in Memphis, TN (The same hospital Elvis Presley died in.). I have heard all sorts of comments and have been teased all my life. I am a born again Christian. I was raised in a Christian home.

  22. Hi brothers, I was born on the 6 6 66 @ 6am in South Africa.
I must confess I am not evil.
    My strenghts are my virtues.
I am a peacefull and loving Soul and had to play my part in the drama by entrying this body on that date, and must confess do not have the mark on my head.
Good luck to all you special souls that entered the world with me on that day.

  23. Hi there Brothers and Sisters, I too was born on 6/6/66- in Dallas, Tx
The extra 6 keeps me out of trouble and more fortunate than most.

  24. Guess I’ll add myself to this list – 6/6/66 – born in Arlington, Va but now in San Francisco, Ca. As to being evil, guess that depends on your definition of evil. Bit warped, definitely.

Personally, I love the number 6, and if you wiki it, it is a perfect number.

  25. I think it would cool on our 66th birthday for all of us to meet for a huge birthday party! Anyone interested in a 66th birthday party on June 6, 2032?

  26. I was also borned June 6, 1966.. I met a real good friend in the 6th grade who also shares our birthday 6-6-66 (her name is Vivian). I was tease my entire life especially since my first name is DeMona and if you take the letter “a” off of my first name you get Demon. I started capitalizing the “m” in my name just to avoid some of the teasing. I was once told that I was going to receive powers back on my 30th birthday. Well 15yrs later no powers and far from evil..I’m pretty nice. I definitely agree we should all meet up soon!

  27. hi,

  29. I am one of those people who has been seeing 1111 on digital clocks since I was a child. I always wondered what it meant, especially since I was born on 6/6/66, Chicago, Illinois. I have decided that on November 11, 2011, I am going to embark on a journey, somewhere far, out of the USA. Something is calling, and I will soon be searching for it.

  30. I was also born on 6/6/66. Neat finding this site and the number of people born on the same day. I rarely cross paths with others having the same date. It always gets a reaction…

  31. Hi! I FINALLY did a search. Have never met anyone with my birthdate. So happy to “see” all of you! :D I’m not alone in the world afterall. Born, 06/06/66 in Tampa, FL. Heard it all. Lots of laughs over the years. We need a fb page. :)

  32. Hi! Great to see so many people who share the same birthday! I have also been teased all my life about my ‘demonic’ powers :-) Yes, we need a FB page and it would be great if we can meet. Anyone living in and around San Francisco?

  33. Hi 060666ers. There are 66 books in the bible so we could be doubly blessed, though at times it doesn’t seem that way. Tracy W’s comment about connecting in 2032 for our 66th birthday sounds good.

  34. Hi, I was born on 6/6/66. I never met anyone with my birthday (and since I lie about my age, I usally don’t tell people either), but I think it is a pretty cool DOBl!!! It would be fun to celebrate 66th together with people with such a unique date of birth.

  35. Hi all, I’m also a 6/6/66 baby. I’m much to middle class to be the daughter of Satan! It cracks me up when people ask me that! The last person was at the DMV. I just told her that I was pretty sure the Antichrist wouldn’t have to stand in line to get their license renewed. He or she could just send their demons to do it for them! Hehe

  36. Hey everyone! I haven’t posted here in years. I came back to see many, many more of us than there were last time I was here.

I’m honored to be in the 6/6/66 club. In a previous post, someone suggested we might have a higher purpose in this world. I have always wondered the same thing and I sure hope we do!

I’m living in Kentucky these days. If any of you are in the Louisville area, maybe we can have a little get-together. That is if any restaurant can handle us!

My email is unchainedmuse@yahoo.com. Would love to hear from my birthday twins!

  37. We have group on facebook called, people born on 6-6-66, we love for all the people born on 6-6-66, to come over and join us,

  38. Hello Erik,
It’s been sometime since you posted this comment about your birthday but I’ve just come across it today.
I am another 6-6-66 person born on that date. I am happy to know of a few other people born on that day. I now feel as though I’m part of the ‘club’.
I too have heard all the oooh’s and awww’s and the jokes. I too have heard the comment about “well no one will ever forget your birthday, right? lol It gets a bit old after so many years with the same reaction to our birthday. I tell them, “No, I’m not the devil but you’re in trouble if you piss me off.” lol
Well, Erik, you can check another person off your list.
FYI: I am from the Boston, MA area.

    Take care,
    Julie

  39. Hi! Another 6/6/66 here…happy early 50th birthday! I was adopted as an infant, so I used to get a lot of laughs with the old “I was born on 6/6/66 and they don’t know who my father is…draw your own conclusions” People are so silly!

  40. Was doing some searches and on a whim typed in ‘born 6/6/66’. Looks like this post got quite a few of us responding. I was born 6/6/1966 at 7:07am (on the way to SATs my friend figured this was the only time that could be 6hr 66min 66sec, then I came home with a 600 and 660 — THAT was a 6s day :) ) Also left handed
We have a club yet? I’m in :)

  41. Hi there,
Oh how lovely to see you all born 6.6.66, like me! This date of birth always brings a smile to someone’s face. Only twice in my life I heard a bad joke, once when I was in hospital! Really ridiculous and very unprofessional. I live in the Netherlands, don’t know other people here born 6.6.66. Yet 11 days and we are fifty, but inside I feel young. I am a social worker, happily married, one child. Wish you all a very happy 6.6.16! Lots of love from Truitje.

  42. I am a 6/6/66 baby. Happy 50th Birthday to all my fellow Gemini born peers!! As we have all had our heads searched by classmates etc, I am glad we share a unique and wonderful summer birthday. (Has anyone noticed that it almost always rained on our birthday?) Have a great and blessed day everyone! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

  43. Another 6/6/66 guy here, born in Owosso, Michigan. The weirdest response I’ve ever heard was years ago from a gas station clerk who was checking my ID. She said, “Hey, did you know that your birthday has all the same numbers in it? 6/6/66?” I was dumbfounded that she thought I hadn’t ever heard that before! One more freaky fact: my younger brother’s birthday is 6/7/67!

  44. Happy 51 this coming Tuesday, to me as well.
Bonus, my niece was born 06/06/00 :)
    Dad was 06/03/30.

Catholic school was a real treat. But there was another 6/6/66er in my freshman year of North Cambridge Catholic.
