Blog Update: Replacing Random Entries With Favorites

What do you care what other people think?

Actually, "What Do You Care What Other People Think" is the title of one of my favorite Feynman books (http://www.erikjheels.com/?p=107).

Is there a name for a blog that tells the story of one's life?  Biog?  Biographlog?  Bioblography?  Whatever you call it, that's what this blog is, and I'm writing what I care about.

I am always perplexed about which articles are popular and which are not.  For example, I expected these articles (which I believe to be controversial, interesting, and current) to be more popular:

So I have replaced the "random entries" module with a new one called "Erik's Favorites."  I have been writing for a long time.  This weblog currently has archives dating back to 1992.  I have older stuff queued up for possible future publication.  I am my own toughest critic.  It turns out that I end up really liking only about nine percent of what I write.  Or perhaps that, upon further review, only about nine percent of my articles stand the test of time.  And who knows how I'll feel the next time I review my favorites.
